About Coach

I immigrated from Cuba at 16, where I grew up playing volleyball and learning the power of teamwork, resilience, and showing up for one another. Two years ago, I found CrossFit and quickly discovered it was about more than fitness—it was about community. I’m a proud mom of two girls, an assistant project manager by day, and a coach who believes everyone belongs on the gym floor. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where athletes of all levels feel confident, challenged, and encouraged to grow. We train together, we get stronger together, and we celebrate progress—big and small—together.

Turning Point

One of the biggest turning points in my life happened at 16, when I immigrated from Cuba. Overnight, everything familiar disappeared—language, friends, routine, confidence. I had to decide who I was without the comfort of being good at something or fully understood. That moment forced me to learn how to rebuild from zero. The enemy in that chapter wasn’t a person. It was self-doubt—the quiet voice that says you don’t belong here yet, you’re behind, everyone else has it figured out. That enemy is universal. We all meet it when we step into something new. Years later, I met that same enemy again when I walked into a CrossFit gym for the first time. New movements, new people, new standards. Different setting, same voice. The difference this time was perspective. I had already learned that confidence doesn’t come before action—it comes from it. From showing up, asking questions, leaning on others, and staying consistent. CrossFit didn’t just make me stronger physically. It reminded me that growth happens in community. You don’t conquer doubt alone—you outwork it together. That belief shapes how I coach. I focus on creating a space where people feel supported, challenged, and safe to try, fail, and try again. The lesson has stayed the same: you’re capable of more than you think, especially when you stop fighting alone and start moving forward with others beside you.

Motivation & Passion

My purpose for coaching is to help people build confidence, discipline, and self-belief through movement—while feeling supported every step of the way. I care deeply about creating an environment where athletes feel safe to try, fail, learn, and grow, but also encouraged to push past what they thought were their limits. I’m especially impassioned to serve kids and teens, busy parents, and everyday athletes who want to get stronger—not just physically, but mentally. I believe healthy competition, when guided with care, teaches resilience, accountability, and pride in effort. Whether it’s a teen learning confidence through training or an adult rediscovering their athletic side, I meet athletes where they are and help them rise. My motivation comes from seeing people surprise themselves. I coach to build strong humans, not just strong bodies—athletes who show up with confidence in the gym and carry that mindset into school, work, and life. If you’re looking for a coach who balances encouragement with high standards and community with challenge, then I’m the right coach for you.
